Sending Forth The Faithful Into The Fullness of Living

L: Ask, Knock. Seek God's kingdom first.
P: Give thanks. Speak Truth. Shine Light.
L: Love the Lord with your whole heart, mind, soul, and strength.
P: Forgive. Receive forgiveness.
L: Give. Participate in God's abundance.
P: Laugh heartily. Trust. Sing praises. Rejoice.
L: Don't wait to die to experience God's kingdom.
P: We will experience God's kingdom so we can begin to live.
L: We have feasted at the banquet set for us by God.
P: Christ has satisfied our hungry hearts with the gifts of his life and death.
L: So savor each new day with hearty appetite and glad thanksgiving.
P: Each moment is flavored with God's movement; there is a taste of the holy in every hour.
L: Live a full-course faith that invites everyone to taste and see that the Lord is good.
L: Let us live in God's presence;
P: Let us exult in life's promise.
L: Let us appreciate the gifts that are ours each day.
P: Let us serve gladly, knowing we have been given much to share,
L: And so find the joy of Christ living and working in us.
ALL: Amen.
"For all the has been, Thanks.
For all that will be, Yes."
And as you go forth to meet your future,
may the blessings of God
dance in you like candlelight,
reassure you like a hug,
flow through you like a river,
and through you bless the world.
Amen.
L: Let our hearts beat to the pulse of Jesus' love.
P: Let our words speak for God's liberating truth.
L: Let our touch bring redemptive healing.
P: Let our actions move the world toward God's kingdom.
L: Let our lives create shalom wherever we are.
P: In this we will be an expression of God's redeeming power.
God has been here with us. We have been touched by God's presence, and we have responded. We leave this place, not leaving God's presence behind, but better prepared to respond to it in the midst of the world. So we go into the world with a surge of hope in our hearts, knowing that there is nowhere we can go, no situation we can face, no problem we can encounter, that God's redeeming Spirit cannot touch, when we are yielded to God's will.>
Through all the turnings of time, Let our actions revolve around the central presence of Christ. And let Christ's love radiate out from the center of being in every moment and every action of our days.
Now carry within you your soul-connection to Home: the knowledge that God is with you wherever you are; the assurance that the bonds of God's love are stronger than our mistakes and sins; and the courage you need to face the world boldly, meet it with love, and move it a little closer to God's kingdom. Carry this with you, and you will never be far from home.
L: Now we go courageously into our hurting world-
P: With arms that embrace,
L: With lips that speak God's liberating truth,
P: With hearts that capture enemies by the strength of love.
L: We are bearers of God's image, receivers of God's grace, channels of God's peace, stewards of God's gifts.
P: We will go into the world remembering who we are.
L: Let us live to the fullest, trusting in God's presence;
P: Let us be agents of hope, grounded in God's grace;
L: Let us gratefully savor the gifts that are ours each day;
P: Let us serve gladly, knowing we have been given much to share;
L: And so find the very joy of Christ living and working in us.
  ALL: Amen.
And now, step into the mighty stream of God's love.
Let it carry you to new heights of service and new depths of faithfulness.
Let it refresh and renew you as it carries life and hope to the world.
L: God's hope bubbles up in us.
P: God's peace springs up in us.
L: God's life courses into us.
P: God's love flows through us.
L: Let us be living streams of God's Spirit in our world.
May the love and blessings of God
Flow like a river through you,
And run into the world,
bringing life, hope, and peace wherever you go.
L: Lean upon God to be strong.
P: Learn from God to be wise.
L: Seek out Christ to be found.
P: Serve with Christ to be free.
L: Release all to the Spirit to receive all.
P: Live in the Spirit to be alive.
L: Alone we are only a spark,
P: but in the Spirit, we are a fire.
L: Alone we are only a string,
P: but in the Spirit, we are a lyre.
L: Alone we are only an anthill,
P: but in the Spirit, we are a mountain.
L: Alone we are only a drop,
P: but in the Spirit, we are a fountain.
L: Alone we are only a feather,
P: but in the Spirit, we are a wing.
L: Alone we are only a fraction,
P: but in the Spirit, we're everything..
Armando Nervo, adapted
L: May God's presence nourish and strengthen us as we live each day.
P: May the God of strength be with us, holding us in strong-fingered hands; and may we be the sacrament of God's strength to those whose hands we hold.
L: May the God of mercy be with us, forgiving us, beckoning us, encouraging us to live with open hearts. May our readiness to forgive deepen the trust of those who have hurt us.
P: May the God of wonder be with us, delighting us with thunder and bird song, sunrise and daisy; enchanting our senses, filling our hearts, giving us wide-open eyes and a heart of gratitude.
L: May the God of peace be with us, stilling the heart that hammers with fear, confusion or doubt; and may the blessing of peace arise from within us, radiate around us, and touch the world.
P: May the God of joy be with us, thrilling us with God's nearness, filling our hearts to fullness, and filling our throats to singing exultation.
L: May the God of love be with us, listening to us, telling us God's secrets, giving God's Spirit to us. And may God's love in us light fires of faith and hope; may the fires grow and burst and inflame the earth; and may God's love in us glow in our eyes and meet God's Spirit glowing in the eyes of all.

Epiphany

L: Rise, shine, for your light has come!
P: We have beheld His glory, the glory of God's beloved Son.
L: Rise, shine, for your light has come!
P: We have listened to His call to be children of the light and bearers of His love.
L: Rise, shine, for your light has come!
P: Through him, we have glimpsed the divine spark within us, and we long to manifest the beauty its light.
L: Rise, shine, for your light has come!
P: We are Ready to live and walk and dance in the Holy Light of God.

Good Friday

Now go forth, not iwth shuffling or faltering steps, but striding with courage and hope.
Jesus reigns from the wood of the cross!
He has conquered the forces of darkness, so walk bathed in God's light.
He has conquered victimization, so walk in the confidence that life outlives all pain
He has conquered death, so walk in the joy that there is nothing in life, in death, or in all creation that can separate us from the Love of God. Because Jesus reigns even on the cross, our destiny is victory.
So live into it, love into it, dance into it. Let us begin now, in this hyly moment. Amen

Penticost
L: Let us now go as Spirit-touched people, powerful as the wind in doing God's will, and energetic as fire in extending the love of Christ.
P: We go as agents of God's Spirit-sharers of love, bearers of joy, messengers of hope, and citizens of God's coming realm.
Labor Day Sunday
L: The Word that has awakened our spirit now sends us to live out our calling.
P: May God bless our laboring and our living.
L: The bread and cup that have shown us Christ's love now leads us to love the world.
P: May God bless our laboring and our living.
L: The prayers that have given us life now guide us to make a life as we make a living.
P: May God bless our laboring and our living.
